Pasi Paruppu Payasam (Krishna Jayanthi Special)

A popular and simple dish , given my unique additions as a value add to this tasty gheer!

Cooking time : 15 min ; serves : 4 people

Ingredients :

Pasi Paruppu  (Green Gram) - 2 cups
Milk: 1 cup
Jaggery : 1/2 cup
Cardamom  - 1 -2 piece
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Cashew nuts roasted in Ghee - 5-8 pieces

Process:

Fry pasi paruppu in low flame for 3 min and then wash with water

Cook pasi paruppu in pressure cooker with one cup of milk and one and half cup of water

Once done, add Jaggery and grated coconut  and mix well

Now add the roasted cashew nuts and serve hot!!

Delicious payasam in ready in few min.. enjoy your drink..
