Thakkali Thokku (Quick Tomato Pickle)

This is a quick recipe and can be used to make a normal lunch into extra special and tasty, try this and comment on my blog for its taste.

Prepare this during a tomato and restore it in fridge , it may last to weeks, add this in rice or keep as a side dish for rasam or curd rice...tasty tasty food ready.

Preparation time: 10 min; cooking time: 15 min ; Serves- 7-8 people

Ingredients:
Tomato - 5-6  Big(use Bangalore tomato)
Green Chilly - 10
Salt to taste

Grind this as a paste and keep aside

Season:
Mustard seeds
Curry leaf
Asafoetida
Turmeric
Channa dhall and urad dhall
Oil - 1 cup


Process:
Keep a kadai , when hot add the desired quantity of oil
Add the seasoning agents one by one and allow it to splutter.
Now add the ground paste and pour a little water.
Allow the paste to come to a gravy state and switch off when you see the oil eluted out.

Serve with rice and pappad..
